sounded so great, I just had to have one for Old david gilmour of pink floyd. The same david gilmour of pink floyd specs were custom ordered: 21-fret, standard thin, one-piece birdseye maple, with a 7.25 straight radius, with vintage Fender specifications, and david gilmour of pink floyd tuning machines. The one difference was the finish. Rather than satin I wanted vintage tint in gloss. The neck came in the first week of February, 2013 and was fitted on.

Rather than satin I wanted vintage tint david gilmour guitar solo in gloss. The neckof david gilmour guitar solo came in the first week of February, 2013 and was fitted on. I also decided to upgrade the tremolo bridge while I was at it. This Strat has always had the original trem assembly that came with it (and went through the fire). david gilmour guitar solo was nothing overtly wrong with the assembly, but it was rather old and showed some mild distress from the fire recovery. But, it was time for an upgrade, so I ordered a new Callaham Vintage S Model bridge assembly. Because the bridge mounting is the Fender Mexican standard pattern is 2 1/16″ (slightly more narrow than the traditional vintage pattern), I selected the Narrow model from Callaham (their site notes that the narrow model is limited production). The assembly is exactly the same as the Vintage S Model but for the narrow saddles and mounting patterns. The system of solo gilmour comes with Callaham’s improved and enhanced block, virtual pop-in tremolo arm slot, vintage-style (but improved) CG string saddles, and all new claw and springs. This setup of solo gilmour is a replica of the pre-CBS Fender bridge but the enhanced block provides additional sustain, bottom end, and attack.
I was a little bummed out by david gilmour acoustic guitar. The Overdrive loaded pickguard seems just as nice as this david gilmour acoustic guitar, and those pups are Custom Shop pups!!!
BUT believe david gilmour acoustic guitar or not the pups in the relic DO sound better than the Overdrive loaded pickguard. Maybe it’s just me, that I am awed about finally having this guitar, but they do sound better, and I have been playing with the Overdrive loaded pickguard for the last two years.
A new USA neck, pick guard, and stock pickups were purchased from a small guitar shop who pulled them from a damaged body. These were fitted on the old body and the original tremolo was cleaned and refitted. The Strat remained in that configuration until 2004 when the electronics were replaced with an all-black version of the EMG DG-20 signature set in david gilmour acoustic guitar. In mid-2012, the body was repainted a glossy black and the electronics swapped for the Overdrive Custom Guitar Works Black Strat setup. This david gilmour acoustic guitar includes a custom 1-ply 0.120″ rounded black pick guard, Fender Custom Shop Fat ’50s (neck), Fender Custom Shop Custom ’69 (middle), and Seymour Duncan Custom SSL-1C DG hand-scatter-wound (bridge) pickup, with a recessed mini-toggle switch which allows the bridge and neck pickups to select together. You can see it on the far right in the picture above.
