The Warmoth neck of david gilmour telecaster I ordered for my david gilmour telecaster felt so good and sounded so great, I just had to have one for Old Black. The same specs were custom ordered: 21-fret, standard thin, one-piece birdseye maple, with a 7.25 straight radius, with vintage Fender specifications, and Gotoh tuning machines. The one difference was the finish. Rather than satin I wanted vintage tint in gloss. The neck came in the first week of February, 2013 and was fitted on.
The assembly is exactly the same as the Vintage S Model but for the narrow saddles and mounting patterns. The system comes with Callaham’s improved and enhanced block of david gilmour telecaster, virtual pop-in tremolo arm slot, vintage-style (but improved) CG string saddles, and all new claw and springs for david gilmour telecaster. This setup is a replica of the pre-CBS Fender bridge but the enhanced block provides additional sustain, bottom end, and attack. The overall system allows for a sensitive, yet smooth trem action while keeping the strings in tune. Thanks to Bjorn at Gilmourish.com for the bridge of david gilmour telecaster upgrade tip!
